Great experience! However I did opt for a Saturday install where they only work on one car that day so I had to wait get that appointment.

Took about 2-2.5hrs to get done

Just need a four channel amp. Not sure if the dash speakers would be in the same line as the front doors. I just read somewhere on here that only about 10% of the power from the head unit goes to the rear speakers. Rather than change the head unit I thought maybe an amp could rectify that issue.

Edit: I could be/probably am wrong because I’m not very good with electronics but just a thought on the issue.

Welcome! I'm fairly new myself and have found: 1, there are a great group of helpful people here...2, you WILL find there are many mods you never thought of but must now have and...3, your bank account will be going :spending::annoyed:.

Totes. Only had my truck for two months, and never looked at mods before I bought the truck. I'm already at least 8 mods in and have plans for several more (two haven't even been done before on this forum from what I can tell)

Been thinking about a roof rack. (Yes I said I was done, but :annoyed:)

When I was still working the road, we had alley lights on the side of our light bars. I was wondering if anyone has mounted a light on each side of their rack? I see ditch lights on here, but I found those alley lights came in handy out in the country on dark roads for lighting up an area.

I am thinking about purchasing one of those myself later this fall. I think it is better than the RSI Smartcap. This review states the pro's and cons for the RSI.

I have seen nothing but positives for the RLD. Hopefully RLD will modify it so that the canopy can open from the inside.
