For the headlights, was it just a bulb swap in the original halogen housing? If so, did you check the beam pattern side by side? Little known fact: In some cases the LED bulb has to be adjusted (clocked) in its housing to produce the best results.

Gonna be a minute. I'm waiting to find out where in the country I'll be moving in a few months (the front runner at the moment will involve the truck either being sold or going into storage for 3 years), and waiting for it to not be 7 degrees in freedum units when I walk out the door in the morning.

They were a bulb swap. Pattern seemed good after first install. Will check. The kit came from Yotaverse.

Some more professional background about it. It's specifically intended for people driving Miata's but the same principal applies to other vehicles with LED swaps.

VERY intricate and difficult mod. Hope the wife doesn’t check the credit card…

I cut a couple rubber grommets that I found in a junk drawer in the workbench. Plugged the ugly holes in my fishing rod holders that I’ve had rigged up to my bed molle panel. Might have to zoom in but I’m happy with how it turned out.

Garage door remote… the box on the ceiling is the opener.

There are a lot of people that don’t do things themselves (even simple) and pay someone. A service call and remote will put that price tag higher than the mirror… another way to look at it

I bought the higher end model that was scrubbed from my memory because I “remember” it only being 2-300 but it was likely a bit more. I think the only difference was updated homelink version and blue backlit

the brand of mirror is the same

Added decals to the center caps I painted something like two months ago. The wheels finally go on tomorrow.

Went with an orange vinyl with pink foil overlay. Figured it's gaudy enough to match the rest of my butt ugly truck.

I have leftovers if anybody wants some overlays. 6 blue with light blue foil and 6 magenta.

Also have an SVG file that was made after measuring the original inlays with calipers, so if you have your own vinyl cutter just DM me and I can get you a link to the file.

No, $330. I wrote a whole thread on the failures of RokBlokz and my prior experience with RekGens. I thought about going "universal" but none of them looked good and required a lot of extra work - like cutting, that I didn't feel confident I'd be able to do properly and maintain uniformity across all 4. Plus, with universals, you still have to buy hardware. You can get the fronts/rears by themselves for $150ish. They are for sure quality flaps. If you consider how much we pay for tires, good rubber aint cheap. I didn't want the redneck looking flat "I bought these at Napa and my other car is a semi" style. So I paid for a good looking set. IMO, worth it. The More expensive ones have either a stainless steel insert or a matte black aluminum insert. I chose to not get that because the whole reason I got these was for their pliability. The quality comparison from these vs. the hard plastic cutout style is night and day.

The alternative and a similar look are the Husky's, but they are also universal style. It's about $140 for them, no hardware. Not even sure if they would work, but they do look similar to my flaps. I don't think they are as wide though. Mine are almost 13" wide. The description says "at least 12" wide. They cover my entire 285's and then some.

Mudflaps? No. Aren't they the same hard plastic as RekGens and RokBlokz? I know I ordered a TRD emblem from them and it was supposed to be "matte reflective black" (It's satin, I don't know why they call it matte - matte doesn't reflect) and they sent me a white one. The label even says "matte black reflective". Pretty annoying. I hear good things though, but that's been pretty much my experience with a lot of products lately.

Yes, mudflaps. They are a similar hard plastic. I've had good experiences with the company, and their customer service when I ordered the wrong thing. Only 80 bucks for a set, seems to have good ratings. I don't have any experience with them, just been thinking about a set to replace my oem mud catchers. https://www.tufskinz.com/collections/tacoma-2016/products/mud-flaps-toyota-tacoma

Ha nice! I just bought covers on Etsy. I tried taking my Silverado ones off and it made a mess. MYbe they are made of different fabric.
