And here in Southeast PA, it seems like we're only getting rain...

 

No ice? The weather images have a large swath of ice coming to much of PA.

Ya it seems like we are getting rain, turning to ice and then snow, right?

 

Same here but not as much snow. From the weather reports I have seen for western PA, places in the ridges, like eastern Westmoreland County, Fayette county, etc., will get more ice. I am tired of snow but will take that any day over ice.

Yes. Rain starts this afternoon, changes to a rain/snow mix tomorrow afternoon, then to snow tomorrow night into Friday. That is according to my channel 11 weather app for my area, which would be similar for Allegheny county. I have to keep on this stuff for my grandson and his school, as well as for my wife and work. She won't drive on bad roads. I told her, take a sick day or two.

 

Ya I knew you get your grandson from school and whatnot. And my wife was also a bit worried if it starts while she is in school (she is a teacher) and then the commute is bad. Hopefully the timing of it works out, so the roads aren't terrible for people coming home. 1 thing I don't miss when I used to commute to work, was dealing with that stuff and worrying about when a storm would hit. Now I just look out the window from my home office lol.

 

Hopefully they cancel school so no one gets stuck mid storm.

I was going to leave here Friday morning to head to Pike county and scout state land for deer hunting .Around Shohola ( my brother lives in Matamoris) not sure now . Ya hopefully. Me and my wife were joking that usually when the try to be pro-active like that, we just get straight rain the whole time and it backfires lol.

All rain fortunately here for the next one. It’s foggy AF right now though. Glad I’m working from home this morning. Hopefully when I head out later it will be clearing.
