Hey whats up guys, I saw tooter who was making the spacers has disappeared from tacoma world unfortunately. I bought an OEM intake manifold and CMM measured everything to ensure accuracy and made several of the spracers 2 inches thick. They're offered in a kit in and ive made brackets for this to be a bolt on item, Let me know if anyone's is interest in a kits by private messaging me or just reply back to this post. im glad i can help continue on the tacoma manifold runner. It helps with low end torque performance.

 

This will get a 2TR-FE STARTED on a Haltech at 72F with a Boomslang harness, I'm not responsible when you blow your engine

Anyway to custom grind my cams for some chop???

 

As of January last year, this was the best lead we had found. Not sure if pricing or lead times have changed since then.

Web camshafts

1k for the regrind (have to send them your stock cams), six week turnaround time.

 

Crower also does regrinds. No idea the cost.

 

Thing is how would I get it tuned

 

If i was going through the trouble/cost of having custom cams ground, i would want a standalone to be able to take full advantage of them.

 

Map3 Ecu, or haltech Ecu, and a session with a tuner on a dyno who's familiar with either of those Ecu's. I don't think anyone on here has custom cams or tuned a truck with the 2tr and custom cams installed.

I remember last year when I contacted them about it they gave me a base price of $500, but no technical info on what the grind could be or any details. So further investigation would be needed with them.

 

I got a call from the Magnuson supercharger vendor they said they are just waiting on Magnuson to deliver! He also said if they keep getting grief about the new header design they will go back to the equal length header but the price will be more. I told him to stock both and see how it goes.
And one last thing is they called to schedule a time to have a Haltech installed…
I had to go back to the stock muffler the Magnaflow Overland system was driving me nuts! Now I can hear the supercharger wind. The Magnaflow was loud as hell but I will say it didn’t drone…
I cut the tailpipe off just over the axle now I need to figure out something after I install the X-runner rear sway and have the notch welded in.

Then, get the idle set. Then small steady state driving cells. Then keep pressing forward.

Once that is pretty spot on for cruising, move onto the Transient throttle. Haltech posted a pretty decent preliminary video on that subject, to get you started adjusting that in.
