I suppose if you want work remotely, always have internet, want to travel a lot and get paid quite well it isn't a bad deal.

 

No address limitations on the premium right now.

 

That is most certainly not worth $500/mo, on top of all the other charges

But then again I suppose with prices like that, the Premium package isnt targeted at the normal peasants like us

Starlink Premium also offers “unlimited service locations” flexibility. Unlike the standard product, which only guarantees service at a specific service address, SpaceX says Starlink Premium is capable of connecting from anywhere.

“Order as many Starlinks as needed and manage all of your service locations, no matter how remote, from a single account,” SpaceX said.

Starlink Premium users can expect download speeds of 150 megabits per second to 500 megabits per second, with latency between 20 milliseconds to 40 milliseconds, the company said. For comparison purposes, the standard service advertises speeds between 100 megabits per second to 200 megabits per second, as well as a tighter latency range.

Additionally, SpaceX said the Premium satellite antenna “is designed for improved performance in extreme weather conditions,” although the website offered no further details. The standard Starlink product features a “snow melt functionality” to remove snow and ice.

So they push out this premium service which says available q2 2022 for me, but standard service is now pushed back to late 2022 instead of early to mid 2022.

Oh, dang. Well, Starlink is indicating that service will be available in my area in April. Keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Mine was saying Mar 2022. Seems like they're a little ahead of estimated.

I'd say they're running ahead. When I made my deposit about a month ago, they were saying late 2022. Yesterday I got my email that it is ready.

Anyone had any issues running a VPN over it?

 

Damn and most of us put in a deposit over a year ago where's my pitchfork

I can check that when I get to install it, my work uses a VPN to access the work network.
