Different fabric or different glue, who knows. Remove them or cover them up, makes the interior much cleaner.

 

Screw it, I already ordered the dash speakers and already have the front door speakers so I figured why not order the rear door speakers too

Crutchfield is awesome! They include the plug and play wire harness and mounting bracket’s for free! Also ordered some more Dynamat. Best part is the free shipping and they should be here Friday so I can install everything Saturday morning!

 

Are they on sale right now? I don't recall them being that cheep. I need to do this mod, the stock stereo is ok but I'd love some better sound.

I didn't notice much of a difference if any doing the rear speakers. If I had to redo, I wouldn't bother. ~ also running stock headunit w/ no amp. Probably be different if I did.

 

Not on sale. I chose these because they are rated at 100 watts RMS and I plan on adding a four channel amp; something like 75W x 4. Should sound primo!

Yeah, I read on here somewhere that the stock head unit only puts out 10% power to the rear speakers. I verified that with the f/r fade function. With the fader all the way at the rear and volume at 20 very noticeable loss in output.

Edit: Hopefully an amp will rectify this issue.

 

Put some eBay seat covers on to protect the cloth seats. It was about $90 front and rear, shipped + tax. The rear fitment is spot on, the front bulge out a little on the lower back area. But I’m satisfied, makes the interior way easier to clean

Thanks for the link, I just used this to get free shipping on wiper refills for both vehicles and a 27f battery tray. Every dealer I checked near me was out of oil filters though, they said no longer available.

 

This was one of the first mods I did haha. Now you can join the REAL ocd club and re-install the visors using black screws instead of the chrome / silver... yeah I have a problem.
