It does not appear that eibach makes 2.0 coilovers for 2nd gens. Eibach makes a 2.0 coilover for 3rd gens. Will the 3rd gen coilover bolt into the the 2nd gens?

Yup, they should fit. Nothing was changed in the shock/coilover mounting between 2nd and 3rd gens.
Plenty have made the swap to a suspension that came off a 2nd gen and put it on their 3rd gens.
Only thing that changed was a bolt size on the lca, but got nothing to do with the shock.

We're still working on getting a set test fit so we can confirm lift heights and ride quality.

We actually send these coilovers out to be level with the rear of the truck at factory height, so we also need to measure for this.

Any updates on when it’ll come out? I know Covid has put a lot of people in a hard spot. Thanks for hanging in there. I’ll most likely just get the pro truck lift. I’ve read too many good reviews to pass it up.

Reviving this thread: I'm told by Eibach the 2.0 coilovers will work fine for the 2nd gen. Would like to get some actual measurements from 2nd gen owners with these coilovers.

Yeah I can confirm that Eibach makes the 2.0 Coilovers Pro Kit for 2nd gen tacomas. I called Eibach on Monday 2/07/2022 and spoke with Kevin from Sales he stated that the Eibach Pro-Truck Lift Kit Stage 2 (2.0 coilovers) are on backorder untill April but they are taking per-orders.

I'm thinking of getting this kit with a complete leaf pack for the rear. Any recommendations? I'm going to be doing a Roof Top Tent in the back which I'll be using for camping trips only in the spring/summer time.

I decided to go a different a route. Based on a phone call to Eibach, I was told that this setup wouldn’t provide enough front lift to match my current rear lift (Dakars @2.5-2.75”).

I’d recommend calling Eibach to discuss your particular needs.
