    nice job!

I painted my original ones (came inferno orange) hated it.

Anyways I painted it black like yours, did it in the garage with a spray bottle, finished clear coat. Black came out good but probably due to poor ventilation when the clear coat set, the ambient clear mist made rough texture on in, and in the sun looked white, like permanent dust. Said F-it, I tried, and just bought black ones

I'd add the blacked out sequential turn signals for the side mirrors

I'd add the smoked out turn signal indicators. They look sharp

I actually JUST put those on last night. I’ll run outside in a little bit and get a picture of them, since they look WAY better than I was expecting!

I’m thinking of getting the meso ones. They are tricky to wire though

    Yeah
Obviously this isn’t a taco but the whole reason I’m doing this is to learn how so I can do one for the taco soon.

Subie tube bumper with provisions for the take-off factory Tacoma skid plate. I think it’s turned out great, gotta get it inside so the paint can dry properly then get it mounted.

1 1/4” hot formed 11GA square tube. This isn’t my first time welding (though welding is only a hobby, I do trees for a living) but it is my first time doing anything like this. No bender, all corners are [hand] mitered and welded.

Finished & mounted pics to come. If I remember…

I ended up going with the ones off of Tacoma lifestyle. They had the black ones in stock, and they’re also 1/2 the price of the mess ones. Direct plug and play, it legit took me a whole 5 minutes start to finish for both sides, and they still have the sequential LEDs in them.
