Strange how roofs are almost bare on one side and 12" on the other. Gonna give the driveway a quick pass for what blew around overnight

Just started/cleaned the trucks and moved them. One more cleanup run and then check the fireplug.

 

About 20 inches in Uncasville, CT. Some impressive drifts - about 36 to 40 inches on the downwind side of buildings. I really appreciated my snowblower today...perfect snow for the snowblower - no clogging at all. Cleaned up my driveway and then helped out my neighbors.

 

Same here. North side had about an inch, South had a foot.
I roof raked the bottom 5 ft, sun hit it and bare shingles now.

Ranches are easy.

 

Watch out, that first step is a doozy

Nothing like logging in to work, checking your emails, and seeing an email from someone who wasn't even on the email chain saying, and I quote: "My understanding is that you are not clear on what your responsibilities are related to maintaining accuracy on PO status", when clearly I never said nor insinuated ANYTHING along those lines.

Safe to say that this so called "supervisor" of mine has it out for me. It is now clearer than ever.

If you can trust the HR where you work notify them and keep them in the loop.

HR is there to protect the company in most cases, but they can also be witnesses for what is going on concerning you to be the go between, so to speak.

But be aware, they may have a file on you that their building with reports that are/maybe not complementary.

But based on what you have shared on this board you have made the decision that you are going to be better off somewhere else.

I've thought about going to HR, I really have, but decided against it for a few reasons.

One, because I'm sure knowing how this person is and has been towards me, I wouldn't be surprised if she already went to them and said something to make me look bad. So at that point it'd be my word against hers, and I'd likely be on the short end of the stick because she's a "supervisor", not to mention that technically she's not my supervisor, she's only filling in until the person which they hired to be my supervisor gets up to speed.

Two, I would think that my new supervisor would kind of chime in and stand up for me and say something, or at least reach out to me and speak to me about it instead of letting me get "hammered" on these emails since she's copied on them, and she hasn't, so I'm inclined to think that she may be 1) too scared to say something because she's new, and/or 2) she's "in" on this tirade against me because she doesn't know any better yet.

Three, I definitely think my time is up at this place, and has been up for quite some time now, so my decision has been made as far as looking for something else which I am doing and have been for some time, but have been super picky about what I want to apply for because I still have a job. But I think the time for being picky is over, and I need to broaden my horizons and be less picky at this point.

That's why I don't really feel like "spinning my wheels" with HR. Besides... I always heard that it's not good to burn your bridges, which I think going to HR would do, so I'd rather not, just in case. Not that I would ever want to go back and work at this place while she's still there, but you never know. Sometimes life takes some weird ass turns.

 

Ugh, I have maintenence that needs to get done can we chill with the weekend storms/dustings

 

Alternator died in big red at the end of my plow run this weekend. Luckily it happened at my dads so I could just leave it. New one in; new belt tensioner pully in; and new belt.

I still have to replace the third brake light in the tacoma and do oil changes for the Outback, Tacoma, and the 2500. I could use a couple dry warmish days. Right there with you Matt.

 

I gotta swap my spark plugs, and I'd like to get some fluids swapped as well but I've at least got some time on those so its not terribly urgent
