No I don’t think they were part of the package. Another mod to add.

My understanding from briefly perusing the tune threads that pop up here is the dealer can't actually see it due to how Toyota does it's coding. I think* it just shows how many times it has been reset and it shows up just the same as if you disconnected the battery for a normal reason.

    * dangerous to take my word for it. I may, or may not be full of it.

I like those. I bought the metal ones off Amazon for $24, but I think I may have to buy these just for the coolness factor of the topo map design.

Thanks, I think they're pretty unique. And I don't believe they do very large production runs because I first saw these in early December and I just saw them back in stock recently

Looks like he does topo map badges for the doors too, as well as interior door handles. I need to stay off TW since my pockets empty everyday

They won't know, but I would not say anything. Warranty wise I think its a non issue unless they prove it caused an issue or they know. Best not say anything. I tuned mine and I have a warranty, so I'm not concerned!

Looks great. Curious with them leaving on the air dam what is under there for a skid plate? I thought they added the same skid plate as what's on the Off Road's. Now I'm not sure what is on the Off Road either...is it standard on everything except the Pro?

My money is on the same useless black cookie sheets the OR has. No idea if those are standard or not excluding the Pro.

The skid plate setup from the TRD Off Road is on the Trail Edition. One of its features. It does look weird with the air dam there, but it should never have been installed in the first place.

It's standard on the OR, the SR5 and Sport don't have skids I believe, the PRO gets a thick aluminum silver skid plate. TRD branded.

Yes, lol. Better than nothing, but not good. I definitely want to get the TRD one at some point.

Allegedly Amazon has a pretty decent knock off. Should be easy to find if you want to go that route. I got the TRD skid during a 40% sale Toyota had a few years back. It's much nicer than the tins my OR came with.

Gotcha...Glad its on there anyway. Was afraid they maybe left it off when they added back on the air dam.

Saw it this afternoon, its nice. I drove it, some gear hunting, ride is great. I swear it feels and drives like mine on the 5100s but it sits a little lower. Cool color if thats your thing, not a bronze wheel guy. I would put a KDMAX tune on it asap as it needs one. Overall I was impressed, he was confused about the front air dam as there is one on it. Not anymore, lol he pulled it off. Some may see it rolling around Eastern NC and Va. Its a bad ass truck stock! He will be tuning it, pro exhaust and CAI. He is not a computer guy or FB but he may be showing up on here soon. What sucks is a 6 month deployment coming up for him.
