TE reps. They have a few sellers like FN wheels, blackhorn or RRW’s with this style. Ran Work Wheels on my old Subaru so didn’t want to spend the money to run Volks on the Taco.

 

There is no cure. Might go into remission for a while but it will come back.

 

Mine is set to be built this week. I’ve got a stack of parts in the living room waiting. Been waiting since 10/19.

How long from build week to dealer does it take?

 

The dealership should be able to give you a good estimate. I can’t remember exactly but I think around 3 weeks once they start building.

You are right on with the SR= "Sexy Red". My first BR was a 2020 SR access cab. I bought the truck early at the start of the pandemic. I was able to get the truck for thousands of dollars under sticker price (22k b/f TTL). It was only a 4cyl but it had the convivence package which as you all know comes equipped with the back seats and remote keyless entry. Long story short, I transformed the truck to a "fake OR 4x4" with a nice lift and wheels/tires setup, some OEM fender flares, fog lights, and some nice decals (see attached picture). I honestly didn't really didn't care that I was driving a "fake OR" , it was my truck and I loved how it turned out. At the end of the day, no one really knew that the truck was an SR because of how "GREAT" it looked according to most people who saw it. A year later the same dealer where I bought the truck from, offered me more than 4k than what I had paid for it. I accepted the offer but I took off all of the customizations including wheels/tires, etc. I ultimately traded the BR bare stock for my first AG OR which I later sold for a large profit. My second AG (referenced in my previous message) was the one that was totaled. Now, my new 2022 BR OR 4x4 is beautiful (IMO) but going back to your SR comment, again I totally agree, SR = SEXY RED!

 

Nice, I have the same wheels. Did you have any issues with the center cap paint flaking off?

Howdy, I haven't had any issues so far. I had the same wheels on my jeep before the taco as well. The wheels got scratched up pretty good from off roading but I never noticed any paint flaking off in an odd manor.

I'm guessing you've had the paint flake off?

Nope, no rub at all.

 

Not the wheels but the center caps, flaked off pretty bad when they did a rotation. I found a color match at Sherwin Williams and sprayed them and they have held up pretty well.

 

Right, yeah I didn't have any issues with the center caps either.
