If it's not leaking they are supposed to glue a tiny trim ring around the old light.

Tacoma is paid off, so is the wife's car. 4Runner would be the wife's however we're going to wait until inventor is more plentiful. Used are as much as brand new MSRP and new have at least a 5k market adjustment added.

I saw a lime rush 2022 T4R PRO with MSRP at 55k + 15k market adjustment for 70k total. :annoyed:

It damn near made my knees buckle. A used 2019 white Pro with only 8k miles was almost 60k.

    We can wait.

I did get an update this morning my carpet padding is due to be shipped on the Jan 28th. Truck has been at the dealership since 11 Oct.

If you look closely you will see the thin Trim they glued around it.

This is correct. My dealership notified me about this recall last year shortly after it was first initiated when I was in anyway for a regular service appointment and told me they could take care of it right away. Took about an hour extra, but then was all set. And as my truck is black, I don't even notice the extra width of trim ring on there now versus what it started with.

If it did leak should they do something else to address it or do they still just do the trim? The reason I ask is that my truck had a leak that I caught fairly quickly w/ minimal water inside and I did a tape job that kept out the rain. They just put the trim on it and left the old light. I have yet to test the quality of the seal. Thank you for any info you have.

If it leaks they replace the light.

    Nothing major yet.
Pretty sure your not included in it. It’s mainly for 2016-2019 I think. Maybe 2020, but I cannot remember. I am pretty certain they fixed the issue for 2021s/2022s.

They are also supposed to inspect the interior components for damage or mold. I had mold in my truck, it took weeks to get it back and was a nightmare situation to deal with. All told though it cost me nothing but time and aggravation.
