It sounds stupid, I know

 

It's not an acid. It's the opposite. It's a base. Still corrosive as shit, but the opposite. It goes after organics (fat, hair), but doesn't attack metals or plastics.

Caustics will still chemically burn or blind you, so much care must be used handling these.

 

Now that you mention it I remember that wasn't an acid. It was always one of the last things I used, a bottle lasted me for years. One of the items I kept in a locked cabinet so nobody randomly decided that they "needed" to use it.

 

Works in 60 seconds?
