So the damn microwave took a shit a couple of days ago. You would have thought the world stopped turning with my family.

That's 2 appliances in 2 days.

New one in. Order has been restored in my house.

 

you don't realize how much you use it until it craps out on ya! the one we have still works but the turning carousel took a dump a few months back

 

Funny watching people open it only to forget it doesn't work.

I replaced the turntable motor in our previous unit once. It was pretty easy and cheap.

Hey Bill, install a surge protector on your new microhood. Cheap and easy insurance. Years ago I installed a new microhood and dedicated 20 amp circuit for my Mother and installed a protector like this one. Two weeks ago, high winds knocked down a pine tree beside their house pulling electric service drop down. Lost a leg and sent a spike through electrical system.
