Another miniature idea. This one gonna take a while.

 

I’d like to have a ‘92 LX with the 5.0 5 speed, cheaper on insurance and quicker than the GT

 

I had a '92 GT convertible several years later. Looked just like this. The white interior and me did not get along to good.

 

I had a '92 Blazer that belonged to the Highway Patrol. When the speedometer hit 85 it started to disappear into the dash and the oil pressure was 40, right where it always was. I decided I better slow down when it was creeping up on 80. Four people in the car with me and one asked how fast I was going. I told him I had no idea because I couldn't see the needle.

 

My brother had a '68 Chevelle with a bored 396 in it. Apparently he'd go across the border to Alabama and cause a ruckus then jump back over to Georgia. One day my dad was driving it and was immediately pulled over when he crossed the border. Officer asked him if he'd been there the day before. He said "no, but my son might have". Officer said "tell him the next time he comes over here, we're going to catch him". My dad got home and told my brother "I don't know what you're doing in Alabama, but if I were you, I'd stop".

 

My boss man has this one dilapidating in the parking lot, he bought it new. Think it’s an ‘89. No tags on it, it’s still drivable though.

 

For anyone interested, the new building on campus is, for all intents and purposes, finished (exterior will be wrapped up when the white stuff is gone and the dirt isn't concrete). Next phase is the building on the left is coming down.



What I didn't know until this morning is they're going to crane a mini ex up onto the roof to take the penthouse down then I thought I heard something about craning a bobcat onto the other floors, the brick gets taken off and the south wall (furthest to the left) comes down last and will just be laid down onto the ground. They figured 2 weeks for demo and another 2 weeks for cleanup.

Oh, and they're using water to keep the dust down. For reference, it's -3 right now...

That's how you do it. You've got to let your neighbors know, I'm a likeable guy but I might be a little crazy. Crazy enough to shoot some idiot trying to break in my house. I like dropping my tailgate and cleaning a few of my guns from time to time over a frosty beverage. Just to put it out there.

On a lighter note, I was driving my wifes Acura Mdx this morning and I went over a man hole cover and boom all of a sudden I'm hearing a rotational metal on metal sound. Sounds like a caliper stuck halfway open. I climb under there and theres a woodchip wedged perfectly between my caliper and lower ball joint, not allowing the caliper to fully open. What are the odds of that

 

The engine is a Wisconsin 2 cylinder with a hand wheel start, no crank to lose.

 

A wood chip... That is a new one.

 

I was gonna guess they are wetting the area adjacent since it's dangerous to get close and hopefully prevent spread. I know when we have controlled fires or large bonfires we always wet the area around to prevent spread.

 

On my way to work saw that a plow got a little close to a drain and popped the whole concrete top off, manhole and all. Oops.
