    Morning gents:hattip:

Took in a little Tool last night :headbang:20220202_230920.jpg

Luckily me and the wife are off today so we're staying in all day and doing online school with the kids....fun times. Y'all be safe if you have to venture out.

Damn brother, not good, hopefully you and your little girl feel better soon.

Thanks for your kinds words. Kids are fine now. Wife only has a headache, so she is fine. I am the only one with all the symptoms, albeit very minor.

    Morning Kevin
    Morning Jo
    Morning Linwood - good news!
    Morning Danny

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Well, about 3/4" of cold rain that hasn't frozen yet, will be soon. We're sitting at 32* for quite a while now, but the wind is supposed to pick up, and drop us more. Just remembered to go open the top spigots on the rain barrel that I forgot to do yesterday, and the rain was courteous enough to stop for that long. Our local lines are underground, but the rest of the city isn't, so that's the main worry. We've been "promised" all the power they can deliver! Good day to get that chili going in a few. Still on my coffee - what's the hurry?

I'm supposed to be driving up to Palo Duro tomorrow, anybody up further up that way that can comment on road conditions?

    Welp, it's dropped to 30*, the rain is now sleet, and THIS JUST IN;

    20201120_121840.jpg

Both flying fish windsocks turned to fish-cicles, the poles froze, and have snapped. The entirety coated in ice.
I picked up one, went to get the camera, and too late. Second gone.

If this is the worst thing today, I'll take it!

Good afternoon gents made it home before we dipped below zero.. which was great! Went to the gym and now time for sleep!

@Slimwood Shady praying for a speedy recovery for your family and you! I’m trying to get back in the grove of running my 3 miles daily… but it’s a challenge with a hyper 3 year old lol!

I know all about that. Ours are 3 and 5. Times are tough and spare time is even worse. I am up between 4 and 5 to get it in…

When you're our age, and the dog tells you something is out front, and it turns out to be the Fire Dept. and an ambulance,
first thing you do is check each other to make sure we are OK, that our house is NOT burning, then move on.

We don't know about what yet, but probably our neighbor's daughter, who has a myriad of problems. :fingerscrossed: We'll hear when they return.

Looks more like snow there bud... roads are dry here now.

Looks like snow, but its like a 1/2” of sleet accumulation. The whole yard is a damn sheet of ice lol. Same with the roads here

It's not TOO bad here, but I haven't ventured past the walk on the side to the garage either. However, they already closed school for tomorrow, and cancelled trash pick up, so probably not great. Not going to do any thawing either for a while. Methinks Saturday is a plan we should be delaying!

 That's 2020 sunshine! Most recent shot of them. Both were on the ground by the time I had my phone! But it IS the worst thing that's happened. (They both were shredded mostly anyway - 2 years is their max life!)

And the chili is crock-potting right along...

The city shut down at 1430 today, saw the email around 3, so packed up and made my way home. Temp is gonna drop once these clouds clear out. Roads were not much issue where I drove today.
