Beautiful truck. Do you have the front flap of your Diamondback tighted down enough? it looks to be canted up just a wee bit. Might let water in. I had my wife stand on it, while I tighted the nuts to the rails. Worked great.

Welp, woke up the next day and the vinyl inserts I made had popped out. The vinyl was pretty thick and was not "permanent."

    20220202_164316.jpg

So today I peeled the remainder off and put on some new (sparkly) stuff that is permanent, and then heat cured it so it'll hopefully hold shape.

The vinyl needs three days to cure, so the center caps can be installed Sunday and then these wheels are finally done.

Sucks though, no reputable vinyl maker produces fluorescents or vibrant holographics in a permanent vinyl for some reason. In fact, it seems like industry-wide all the permanent vinyls are much muddier than their removable counterparts.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.

That's what soup cans and hose clamps were made for! Tape will rust that pipe in two months.

Yep, we all got a dose of the white stuff today. Too bad it has freezing rain and sleet underneath it. The DFW Metroplex took a Snow Day today. These are my front and back yards in Allen.

Tomorrow I got to drive 40 miles across this Metroplex one way so I will get to try out the 4x4 action for quite a while. One of the reasons I got a 4x4, is the DFW ice stuff.

I used frog painters tape as a precaution. Worked quite well actually.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Finished my tail gate grill. Money spent- $0 hurtful words from wife- ear plugs. getting to cook literally anywhere cuz she said I should be more productive, priceless

this is awesome. can we see more on this? like how the stove is set in? does it latch in somehow or you take it in and out when you want to use? does it sit flush when the lid is closed? also the propane tank.. is it just free hanging or you got it clipped somehow to the bed?

Can I borrow your wife or anyone's wife for this purpose?

    Jk!

Seriously it is partially up. That's the adjustments I mentioned. I was rummaging around for something heavy the other day before work, and as I walked out, I noticed two Coke crates with about 6 2 litres in them. When weather is a wee bit warmer, those crates should (hopefully) serve as a decent weight.
