I used frog painters tape as a precaution. Worked quite well actually.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Finished my tail gate grill. Money spent- $0 hurtful words from wife- ear plugs. getting to cook literally anywhere cuz she said I should be more productive, priceless

this is awesome. can we see more on this? like how the stove is set in? does it latch in somehow or you take it in and out when you want to use? does it sit flush when the lid is closed? also the propane tank.. is it just free hanging or you got it clipped somehow to the bed?

Can I borrow your wife or anyone's wife for this purpose?

    Jk!

Seriously it is partially up. That's the adjustments I mentioned. I was rummaging around for something heavy the other day before work, and as I walked out, I noticed two Coke crates with about 6 2 litres in them. When weather is a wee bit warmer, those crates should (hopefully) serve as a decent weight.

To answer, it's a permanent mount. Stays in all the time. The lid is hinged so you still have full use of the tailgate. I secured the burners and pipe with pipe hanging strap and the grill itself I found in the garden one day. The propane tank is just to check it. I'm integrating a full size to run my on board fridge so it'll do both and it'll be out of the way. And in case anyone was wondering, a cooked up a backstrap from this year's deer as a way to break it in the right way.

285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders. Garmin Mini Dash Cam 2. CMC by Milogen Fabrication.
The rear ones are easy with jack stands and a hydraulic jack to line things up. I had a buddy with a shop install the fronts. The coils on that truck were OME 887’s. On my current truck I’m running 5100’s with OME 886 coils (both the 887’s and 886’s set a 0 on the 5100’s).

The stage 3 with the topper is perfect. I miss it. I am adding airbags to carry a FWC so I think airbags plus 2 will be the way to go for when I'm unloaded as well. I wish I didn't have to change it up by I can't get my front high enough while keeping CV's happy on stage 3 without any weight. It sits so ass high. Happy to hear I will have some rake on 2 still unloaded. Weekend project here we come
