Assuming you're doing an actual suspension lift, you can do it in your home garage with a buddy and a few hours. No need to pay a shop $1,000.

    What lift are you getting?

Eibach pro stage 1 and probably get the UCA to make alignment easier. i think i might have found a shop that is actually reasonable.

There are a lot of good ones out there, I've got SPCs on mine, I actually wasn't going to do UCA since I'm only at 2 in the lift but this set showed up still wrapped in plastics still in the box for 50% of retail. So I took them.

Super happy with them and love the greaseable joint cuz it means I can keep it fresh and maintained. The adjustability is second to none as well.

I run SPC LR UCAs. I chose them for the adjustability.

I did the same Eibach kit with SPC UCA's. Probably didn't need the SPC's & they were harder to put in than the lift. Took me all afternoon to get the long bolts out & back in. No shop around here will want to deal with bending the metal around the bolts just to install them. I guess it just depends on what size tires you're gonna put on to decide on UCA'S or not

Well then haha.. I ordered the spcs already lol I'll talk to the shop and see what they can do.. I just figured alignment would be easier if installed. Thanks for the advice.

Yep I thought the same thing. If you end up putting them in make sure you repaint those areas where the metal was bent so they don't rust from our salty Iowa life!

I just used a few heavy coats of satin black rustoleum spray paint where I scratched it up with vice grips

That’s why most people cut the bolt and then put in a new one from the other side

I thought about doing that but sourcing those from the dealership was gonna take too long time wise

    As you should be.

Have your alignment tech set the caster between 2 and 4, camber at 0, and toe at the tiniest of incrimiments (inward) if you're going for larger tires. This will help keep them from rubbing/hitting anything when you hit a speed bump/pot hole/yuge rock

Also, should be pretty obvious, but you know some techs lack sense. Make sure they don't bend your cam tabs trying to hit numbers.
