I'm on 37's now with a pretty hefty offset so it will be iffy. Depending on how it all fits I've been considering a new set of wheels and going back to 35's. Thats pretty much the reason I want the glass on ASAP, that way whenever my front kit shows up I can get to work on that.

Lol you just said you wanted to do the glass first and now you’re saying order is irrelevant. Imo hard parts first and cosmetic stuff last is the way to go. Sometimes you gotta do what you can based on your availability of parts too.

The main reason I want to do the glass first is because I'm not 100% confident I have everything needed to make the conversion work. So I want a head start in the event I need to order more stuff. I'm fairly confident I've ordered everything for suspension. I see no difference in the order of things here.

If you plan on going hard it might be a good idea to build some custom mounts too.

That is part of the plan. That however will wait until the suspension is in so I don't bone myself.

Bolt in Alcan springs and some relocated Icon 2.5's I put together for them for now. It works well enough.

I have some King 2.5 2 Tube 14's I may squeeze in the wheel wells down the road.

Is there an easy way to extend the stock fuel lines in a second gen? I’m keeping the same sender since it “fits” my fuel cell. Just need some more length and I don’t know what will work with these crazy looking quick connects.

Can't you just cut the oe connectors off and use some hose clamps to tie directly into the hard lines ?

The funky connects and hose on the pump side didn’t look very appealing. I’d like to keep the barb on the hard line, not sure what hose size will fit. Totally new to me. Tired of learning:duh:

Fuel injection stuff shouldn't ever just be clamped together. Personally, I would go buy the proper quick connects and make new lines that connect between the pump and OE lines.

I’d like to keep the connects and not do any clamps if possible. Or at least clamp it at the pump where I can see it easily. I don’t have enough experience to identify parts as proprietary or not so I have to do a lot of digging. Shit looks pretty proprietary though swiveling and taking a Rubik’s cube expert to disconnect.

also can the return line for the charcoal canister just be left disconnected or should it be plugged shut? I highly doubt I’ll be adding it back and I have it disconnected under the frame. Not sure if fumes will leak back?

hard lines can be custom made and re-flared if you want a new length and barb
