    I brought the truck in for an oil change and some other work; My mechanic Pete let me take his 1991 Volvo 240 for a spin!

    So, Pete discovered why my steering has a "shimmy"; My brake rotors are warped and we have no idea how it happened! The rotors aren't even a year old and Pete thinks he can get me new one new under warranty!

    I'm a licensed Notary in Connecticut my neighbors can ring my door bell any time for Notary services.
    I've Notarized Real Estate paperwork for a Real Estate agent on a Sunday afternoon.

    So when Connecticut notaries are real estate agents notaries like myself a private citizen car dealerships may or may not have them certainly the state will have them so each state has different what a my case I'm a private citizen retired and I took the tests and became a notary and have been a notary for at least 15 years

    Also in Connecticut titles for Motor Vehicles in the past required a notary to sign off on the transfer could do it a notary public or any place a notary was available current titles only require a signature and a bill of sale no notarisation is required

    @Taco critter

    What do you think my chances are of encountering a cop in a pissy mood if I stick to the and park the truck if I do any off-road exploring?

    It would appear that this is the infamous graffiti road that was covered over with dirt; I have no idea how old this satellite image is...

    This is from 2014, but it would appear that it is still legal to explore Centralia!

    Where in PA do you live? I'm in the Philly suburbs and about 2 hours from Centralia; My cousin and her husband actually live less than an hour to the north of Centralia, and I was thinking about making a weekend of it, but I want to bring my dog. My cousin has a dog and a toddler and they live in a nice but small townhouse, and my dog can be out of sorts when he's away from home, so if I bring him it'll likely have to be a day trip.

    Maybe a few of us Tacoma owners should meet up in Centralia to explore and take some pictures of our trucks together?!?!

    I’m in Downingtown. This would definitely be a cool Tacoma meet!

    You're more to the west of me; Maybe we could meet in Reading or something? I'm planning a solo trip there sometime in the next couple months so I can scope things out...

    I thought 476 would be the fastest route up for me but I just checked google maps and I would go through Reading.

    I think we should do it this year because there's only like four people still living there, and the Commonwealth tears down the buildings when people move out; There's a church, a municipal building, and two or three houses remaining...
