Installed some Desert Does it seat jackers on the front. Seems much comfier, time will tell if the body will agree..

And started on this coastal rear bumper.. finally.

 

No turning back now! Finally bit the bullet and bought new bed for my truck and I’m so happy!

Anyone have any decent headlight retrofit builders? Mine is starting to show its age, I need a new set.

 

I’ve got one from a 2012 Nissan Titan. Has temperature too.

 

Replaced oil cooler seals and hoses

I feel like you’re the type that would just build your own.

 

I had an old long gone member build mine. I would build them myself, but I don’t want to stink up our only oven with Butyl fumes.

It is. Bigger than the last we were here. Dust is heavy as expected. If you like offroading this is the mecca for it.

 

I’ve been looking for a powder coating oven haha. Maybe I’ll finally get one.

It’s pretty simple from what I’ve seen. Hardest part is heating up the headlights precisely enough so you soften the butyl, but not enough to melt the headlight housings.

 

I'll play this game and continue this.

 

I figured you would be able to do them yourself given your handiness. It's super easy to do yourself.

275 for 5min intervals until it's soft enough to pry apart.

 

I attempted this with some EBay headlights to no avail. The housing literally crumbled every corner that I tried prying. I think I did 250 for 7 mins like what the retrofitsource said to do.. then after putting back in 5-6 more times I got angry with it. The sealant just would not soften up at all!

I’d like to find some half decent Oem lights to try again..
