Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Love it! Your admiration and appreciation of my insanity is why I keep the butcher shop open for business

They took a shortcut over my hood to my trash can in my driveway. Had to replace the hood.

That's awesome lol. Sucks you had to get a new hood, but that's something to brag about. But that just gave me an idea... in the highly unlikely event of that happening again, you take an old airbag or a new one, or the one from your buddies truck, and mount it at the latch. Set it on a horn button with a used up valve spring that'll depress at or around 300lbs for the trigger and when the bear gets on the hood, he'll realize his mistake whilst midair. Then the question can be asked, does a bear shit the woods? No, for he shits in flight.

Unfortunately this is a known issue that predominantly affects -16 and -17 models.
However I'm aware of a TSB for -18 models.

Just happy it's fixed. The ES bushings are much more robust so even with the body/frame misalignment I believe they'll last longer.
The body and bed are presently aligned so I didn't want to move anything around. I'm told the other bushings may wear out but I'll cross that bridge when necessary. I don't do any hard-core off roading.

I’m liking that more and more

I’m trying to figure out what makes it different from the 16-17. I get the difference in the trucks/radar but what’s different in the grille. I know you mentioned the relocation bracket from separate co but did you get any mounting bracket included with the grille and is it used at all with your relocation bracket? I noticed the mounting on website pics but they all have the mesh add on so not sure if that’s included with the grille or mesh (makes more since w/ grille). So the purpose of buying the relocation bracket is to raise the radar to hide behind the center Toyota logo as much as possible rather than below?

did you drill holes for the pegs on the Toyota emblem and epoxy? Bought from the link provided on website or another source?

what was your reason for no mesh? Just curious.

anyone else that knows/has thoughts chime in pls

Was this the universal bushing or the 2nd gen specific? I have the 2nd gen version in the cabinet but have also recently seen mention this could be linked to future sheet metal wear/tear under battery, just for the fact it doesn’t have as much give as the oem iirc so I put it on hold for now

So I confirmed the builtright bed molle panels have the same cutouts as greymantactical- meaning it will accept the mount plates. Single only tested but now to see if I can come up with a reason/personal use that would benefit over using the slots (not sure there would be one)

I got the relocation bracket because I didn't want to see the sensor. It looked like it was just a piece of plexy glass below the Toyota.

The mesh was separate. Didn't buy it.

Got the emblem off Amazon from the link provided. Cut the pegs off and double sided taped it on so it wasn't permanent incase my paint job got messed up I can remove and redo.

Bolts were sprayed in Krylon hammered black last night and carefully reinstalled. I feel better knowing 4 bolts I'd never noticed before now blend in with the headliner lol.

Looks clean! Now you need these glossy black inserts for the glove box (I have them in MGM and they're great quality and properly paint-matched). Tacoma Glove Box Inserts 2016 2022 3rd Gen Only color | Etsy

Not sure if they offer that style? But you can easily buy Kydex and make you own. I've made several sets.
The only reason I purchased a set of TufSkinz was I wanted to see quality of their lettering./graphics.

This picture you can see the rear flaps that I made out of Kydex.

This picture you can see the TuffSkinz.

How do you like the borla xs? I had one on my Sierra and absolutely loved the sound but of course that was a V8.

    Caught my attention.

I have the downward run off the exhaust manifold on mine wrapped. I was fully confidant that the heat there would keep any moisture away - and rust would never be a concern. Do you have any evidence of this not holding true? Please share.
