:hattip:Good morning everybody. Have a great Friday!

Yesterday morning about this time it was 70 and raining, today it’s 48 and dropping, rainy, and a 20 mph wind blowing. I don’t see any outside work being done today.

Renewed the plates on our Mazda Tribute yesterday, that was $85.00. Also got a new exhaust for it. That was $200.00. Waiting for warmer temps to install. Now I'm renewing the registration on the 4wheeler, thats $30.00. :spending:

Doing the 4wheeler online and still getting charge a $.60 convenience fee.

2% for the additional credit card clearing fee is acceptable to me. What annoys the crap out of me more are gas stations that charge 10% or more for credit card when it only costs them 2-4% at most. I will go out of my way to find stations that don't charge additional, or at least only charge what the cc fee would be.

.60 doesn't sound bad. i get annoyed with the $8-$10 fees they tack on to online camping reservations for the park.

Really, most stations around here have a cash price and a card price.

We ended up with about 8-9" total on this side of the state. Some friends closer to Ohio got about the same as you in kzoo. Our Toyota parts depot in Ohio has been shut down for two days now. No delivery yesterday or today. Some customers here are just shit-out-of-luck to get their vehicles completed and back to them for the weekend. Triple parts delivery tomorrow morning for someone else to deal with. :goingcrazy:

For gas I prefer to pay cash. I have never paid at the pump. The biggest minimart/gas station in our region is now all prepay. I don't like to prepay. Call me old fashioned. But I don't like paying for something before I get it. Unless I order it.

Here in the Detroit area every station charges about 10 cents a gallon extra for a card. When I'm up north near my cabin no one charges for using cards and the gas is usually several cents cheaper than the best price around here....and they even pay a higher delivery surcharge up there. Whole different way of life up there. They still have stations with pumps that don't take cards at all. They just leave them turned on for you and expect you to come in and pay when you're done (and, for the most part, everyone does). Around here that would never happen. lol

Same here I drive right by the one close to the house and buy from one in town for that very reason! I’m in town pretty much every day anyway so they can take their cash price and stick it!! And it’s no higher
