So after getting those six orders that I declined, I was heading to the car wash to give my truck a much needed bath when a $10.50 order from Chickie's and Pete's on 611 in Warrington came in; I readily accepted it and headed back in the opposite direction...

I found this at the apartment I delivered the $10.50 C&P order to...



I thought that I was lazy when it came to taking down holiday decorations in a timely manner, but this is a pumpkin from October 2021 still sitting outside a door on the last day of January 2022!

I saw this in the Lansdale area on the way to drop off the C&P order and stopped to take pictures on the way back home...

 

Going back to the type of DoorDash customer I get in Warrington/Warminster between roughly 11:30am and 3pm, I thought about it and don't think I should be making assumptions about who these lousy tippers are. The point is that the people in this area during this time period are lousy tippers!

Anytime after 4pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is by far the most profitable; People tip very good, because the majority of them are families of three or more who have ordered dinner for the whole family. Weeknights are profitable, but far slower than the same time Friday through Sunday. Mornings any day of the week are lucrative because there are people who don't feel like driving but also don't feel like making breakfast.

It's not gonna be a dedicated live music venue anymore, either...

 

I yearn for more details but I'll wait.

Any rough timetable, if that's not inside information of course?

 

Hopefully by this summer, which will mean no more DoorDash for a while!

Then I finally got it washed at the end of today's Dash!

 

Nope.

 

I no longer take orders less than eight dollars, so I took this one, and it has been my only worthwhile order today...

 

I no longer except orders below eight bucks, but this one was almost 70 cents below my previous minimum of seven bucks!

 

What happens if no one accepts the order? Does the order eventually get canceled?

I live in a small town, no door dash. Not even Uber will come out here. Lol

 

Is it the amount of the order plus the mileage that sets the rate

 

Yup, pretty much...

 

Made a delivery to this huge house in Plumstead Township, and the house had a large dinosaur statue in the yard!
