    I'm deciding between 2 kits:

    1) The toytec eibach ek16 kit

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/EK16--ToyTecEibach-2-Lift-Kit-for-2016-Tacoma_p_1910.html

    Or

    2) Headstrong bilstein kit plus Maxtrac rear blocks (pretty sure I would choose 2888 coils).
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p401/Coil/Bilstein_5100_Kit_(HS16BK-1).html

    Plus 1.5 or 2in blocks

    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p114/Maxtrac_Lift_Block_&_U-bolt_Kits_(1"_-_4"_Block%29_-_05__Tacoma.html

I'm really trying to get info on the Eibach kit if anyone has insight or even better currently has the kit installed. I keep leaning toward this one.
I am running blocks in the rear because I am 99% on pavement and tow 1x week with a open trailer under 1500lbs. The bed is usually empty, so very little weight. I am keeping my stock 17in and 265 for now but may swap to an all terrain 275 or possibly a 285 (100% on Falken). I might hit a few fire roads or basic trails 1x month.

I really want at least 2in gain in lift.

Comments, pointers, thoughts, etc are greatly appreciated. Negative or positive, thanks.

At this point i would say go with the @HeadStrong Off-Road kit.

I ordered the AAL and got it within the same week. They had good customer service as well.

In case anyone is wondering what the EK16 kit looks like with the Eibach springs set at the second clip up front, here's a pic! Not good, and not recommended, dealership just didn't follow the instructions.

I'm not a bro-lean guy (is anyone?) so it's going back next week to get set properly at the first clip. I'm hoping that gives me a little bit of rake. I need to be able to load up the back without making the truck pop a wheelie.

I have the Eibach suspension. I bought it from Summit. Then I purchased the blocks and U-bolts separately. I bought 1.5 inch tapered blocks (supposedly can help reduce potential vibration issues) and have the front shocks seated on the lowest notch (2 inch lift). My factory rake was exactly 1” (most people will tell you it’s 1.5”, so make sure you measure). So, now I have 0.5 inches of rake and I think it looks perfect. I have 265/75/16 tires and I think it’s a great look. I’ve seen Tacomas with bigger 33 inch tires and 2-3 inch lift and I think mine “looks” like a taller lift because there’s more space in the wheel wells. 100% happy with the feel of the suspension and the rear feels exactly the same with the blocks as it did without (but the Eibach shocks are designed with more travel to accommodate for the blocks). I’m actually really happy that I didn’t add a leaf and stiffen up the rear suspension. No vibrations and no issues with the bushing. I also did NOT do a differential drop and I added a 0.25 inch spacer to raise the driver’s side front by 0.5 inches to correct the “Tacoma lean”. I debated this because both sides were nearly equal before the lift. But, I’m sure glad I did it because after the lift, my driver’s side is still just a tiny bit lower (0.25 inches or less) than the passenger side. I have no idea how. Go figure.

You will probably be OK. You’re really only supposed to use the 2nd and 3rd notch if you have a steel bumper (2nd), or a bumper and winch (3rd). This keeps you at 2 inches with the added weight. But, it might just feel a little stiffer. If you don’t have a steel bumper on your truck and you have it on the 2nd notch, then I think you might get 2.5 inches of lift. So you will be almost completely level (or a 1/8 inch bro lean) per your measurements. I don’t think that will be noticeable (unless you have weight in the back). But, the manual that comes with the springs (not the shocks) clearly states that the 2nd and 3rd notch are for trucks with added front end weight and that you might have “a degradation in ride quality” otherwise. This is really designed to be a 2 inch lift.

After further considering my original response, I would suggest you go with at least a 2 inch block if your going to stay on the 2nd notch and don’t have a steel bumper. That way you can have some weight in the back without having a bro lean. But, you should give the people at Eibach (not Toy-tec) a call to discuss. I called them a couple of times and they were always easy to get a hold of and super friendly and helpful.
