Did a front end rebuild on Pauls truck today. Total chaos cam tab gussets, gusseted spindles, new lca’s, UCA’s, wheel bearing assemblies, and bilstein 6112s with new top hats. Original CV’s but once we got a closer look at them, the boots are pretty rotted so we’ll rebuild them at some point. Pro tip, when total chaos says you need wheel spacers on stock wheels for their spindle gussets, they’re not joking. That thought didn’t even cross our mind until he went to back out and the front tires wouldn’t move. The wheel weights were gouging into the spindle. Luckily a buddy 10 min away has a spare set of spacers so he saved the day.

He’s a little big for that one now! Guess I need to buy a larger toolbox.

I appreciate that but the axles need all new boots. Luckily they’re not actually torn or slinging grease, but their days are numbered.

So that’s what my JBA UCA’s should look like… I guess we were right @y=mx+b … something didn’t look correct after greasing

do you mean the one that was bulging on the end? I wonder if there was a bubble or the old grease was stuck in there, did you ever see if it worked itself out?

Got the lightbar mounted today and it’s seriously a perfect fit. Didn’t drill the prinsu at all because even the mounting holes lined up with where the crossbar was. I also got the control box mocked up. I’ll add edge trim around it and mount it as flush as I can, that’ll happen sometime next week.

You sound very good :woot: That's fantastic Brother! No shit!? You drive those for real? That's freaking awesome! I need a job like that!

Dogs are great, getting fatter every day. Like me LOL.

So, serious question, do the wheels on the bus really go round and round?
    :yay:
