Tomato juice that we've had on standby for a decade for this occasion. We've been here over 30 years and this is the first close encounter. The pups have returned from walk-about many times and smelt like they had stuck there heads into a skunk or groundhog (also a bit musky) home but they have, until now, never been sprayed.
I lost most of my sense of smell a couple years ago when I had the stroke(s) but my poor bride is suffering.

I called them after hours last night and I got 2 return calls from 2 different people. When I go back to have the warranty work finished they’re going to “get to the bottom of it”.

in the meantime I’m trying to get some quotes on a replacement handle so I can hand them the bill

Can't like that one  sorry for the...

    ...inconvenience?

My old Border Collie got a light spray once, fortunately she just smelled a tiny bit funky for a few days -- she shed so much I think she just blew the dirty hair out and was done.

She was more attitude than brains, she would be outside in a hurricane just to prove that she could do it. The two of us had a lot in common back then...

Just found this old photo yesterday. Victoria.

It warmed up to 19 so I went out to deal with the driveway. The snow is very granular and blows fine -- and also blows back at you fine as well.

The daily van was encased in ice so I got the fairly swift (IMO) idea to put an electric heater in the cargo compartment for about 90 minutes. Worked pretty good, doors open and windows clear if I need to go somewhere, hopefully not. :fingerscrossed:

She was a hell of a ball of fire -- we had 4 cats and she was the house police over them.
I had a good laugh when I found the photo.

It wings night at my residence. Home made buffalo sauce and the seasoned wings in the air fryer.

OK I know this isn't the 2 feet of snow other places have gotten but this nonstop snow can kiss my ass. Looked outside and everything is buried in another 3" plus of snow (dry fluffy shit now but still). What the shit, my damn shoulder is killing me from clearing this snow and shoveling.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

We had freezing rain/sleet all night Thursday into Friday and it continued until about 2, then changed to light snow. Our driveway is solid dense ice coated with snow. Fortunately, it's not slick so we can get out but it's going to take some time to clear - no way to get a plow blade under it now.

    Be safe!!

i have been sprayed 4 times now not really that bad for all these years .

Not near as bad as tear gas as long as you don`t get it in your eyes

a few days off school or work is always good.

Last time i called in to work and said i was just sprayed by a skunk I will gladly come in since I have a company Truck I was told don`t you dare get in that truck as it was a 2021

I got close to getting sprayed by one. Accidently caught one in a have-a-heart trap intended for a groundhog.

That was not a fun situation. :(
