I have a 20 ounce mug. I fill it up twice in the morning, then have it half filled around lunch and another half filled mug after dinner. I do add some milk to it. My grandmother started giving me coffee when I was about 4 years old. She was the daughter of an immigrant and they looked at things differently, like coffee for children, much to the chagrin of my mother. That was 55 years ago and I haven't stopped drinking it.

I used to have 2 strong cups every morning. Then I noticed I was not feeling well. Finally traced it down to coffee

Now I drink about a quarter cup and the rest oatmilk.

If memory serves, El Toro is in or near Carson? I grew up in south-central L.A., my high school had a Jr ROTC program (Air Force), and every year they took a "field trip" to El Toro, if I remember correctly.

    Afternoon all,

Hope everyone is digging out of what ever fell from this last storm, or about to..

Wife had a great Dr's appoint this morning, xray looked like he used a laser to align it, they really did go all Home Depot up in there!! On the xray you could see how far up in the bones they hammer this thing!! OUCH!! Dr. told her go ahead and stomp or my foot as hard as you can, simulating stomping on the brake pedal of the car... She did, he said that's all you got, squeal the tires, you won't hurt me, she didn't it again, he said WOW!! That hurt!! It's up to her now 4.5 weeks out of surgery and he said another couple week, get your head straight, and practice some driving and stopping in an empty parking lot!!

Joyce text our kids to give them the news, all of them said great Mom, Love you Mom, our youngest said "Now you can get the practice you've needed!!":rofl: She looked at me and said, "what did Thomas mean by that?" I looked dead at her driving across 46 at 70 and said, "Your youngest Son just said he loves you and you need to learn how to freakin drive!!":rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::boink::boink::boink:

A little of this and a little of that.
I drink black coffee. Too much according to some, not enough to others. Usually 3-4 cups a day. :pccoffee:

I don’t mind paying at the gas pump, and use a credit card. I’m not away from my vehicle that way. The station I normally use doesn’t have a cash discount, they screw everyone equally…

@kamakazie_1 Glad your wife had a great checkup with the Doc! :burnrubber:

:hattip:Evening, I think cabin fever is setting in, dogs not liking her new snow boots. The dog gets ice balls in her pads, a lot of work to get them out and hard on her feet. So funny watching her get used to them, knucklehead.:rofl:A0029617-81A2-437F-BD54-B514B34419EB.jpg

Rain all day yesterday and it got warmer after dark... 47° last night, rained this morning and it stayed around 45° and now it's at freezing and everything that was melted is starting to glaze over.

Taco had the "money" light ( CEL) and TRAC light turned on this morning. I got it scanned at Advance Auto Parts, expecting the secondary air pump but instead got a P0327 knock sensor. A bit of reading on the TW site seemed to be a common issue when a rodent decides to eat the wire harness on the sensor. I starting pricing one out ( ~$300 from toy-yoter ). I had a minor meltdown because of another unexpected expense, I go to drive to a job interview and on the way there the lights go off. They stayed off on the way home as well. I need to shine a light down the side of the intake ( 2.7 engine, I should be able to see something) to look for any signs of rodents chewing on wires.

BIL was transferred back to ICU. Yes, he’s been in the hospital all this time. He coded and needed to have the heart restarted. Currently intubated. Not doing well at all.
