hey all so im having some issues with my truck lately but its not always happening so maybe someone can help me out here...

for the past few weeks every once and awhile when i start my truck after its been sitting for awhile it will have a starting issue....
the truck cranks the same and it doesnt seem to take any longer to crank then usual but once and awhile the truck will try to start fall flat on its face then backfire and slowly start up.... i dont get whats going on here... its never done this before so idk why its doing it now and im not sure what it could be? spark plugs? wires? fuel? fuel filter? fuel pump? or something completely else? i have no idea the truck doesnt idle odd and doesnt seem to have any issues while running (still as gutless as ever) so im not exactly sure why its doing this...

any help would be appreciated here

 

Just don't stop driving it, problem solved.

Since it snowed I've become hyper aware of my truck's front end squatting when I turn the wheel even at a standstill. 5° of caster might be what's causing that though. OR I bent my spindle.

 

It's totaled. Part out time.

 

Time to buy it back from insurance, cage it and add a snow plow.

 

All while never addressing the front end.

Joke's on you though, I have TC gusseted spindles to swap in.

 

id be shocked if you bent your spindle it takes a good amount to bend them (i did bend one of mine)

got to do a good amount of stuff to truly damage them doing a jump on road is a bit easier on things then bouncing off rocks thats how i bent mine

 

What about jumping on a icy road?

 

i mean that just means for a slippery landing lol from what i was told its from hard abrupt changes in direction that causes it to bend so like going straight and hitting something at speed that then forces it another way but it could be bent in a multiple of different ways

 

You gotta speed up for them so you can cycle that suspension
