It is not a straight push pull, the bottom slides in and out sideways the whole assembly slides out towards the grill and opposite for the install , if you can do it straight push pull please send me a video of it I would like to see what all breaks.

7CED7200-78EA-4332-BD88-7520E32A754C.jpg I know my video is not all that great but watch Chloe’s and you can clearly see her pull as I did towards the middle or grill. I will screen shot a part from her video.

I'll let my buddy know and then I can drive to his place and pick up this weekend!

Great to have friends who understand my situation.

You could definitely push up and then slide. I am definitely not a expert as I only have done it once. I am sure there are multiple ways to get them out but I will stick with slide out slide in method.

I just looked at the area in question...looks like it slides out and the tab on top keeps it in-place. Not too much lift of that tab is required to slide out the joining section. Good thoughts about waiting until the weather is warmer for brittleness...although, the plastic looks like it won't break off easy since my truck is less than a year old...but I will still be careful.

I'm more concerned with Tim...he's almost reluctant because of adventures like this...lol!

Once all that section is off and I'm looking at it, I'm sure we will be able to see the best way (our own method) to slide that baby off!

    Looking forward to it.

No problem we can all agree and disagree it’s great conversation that helps everyone.

I have never seen the headlights pulled straight off all of the video and how too’s showed them sliding them to the left or right before pulling them out.

Looking at it when I did mine a straight grab a pull off did not seem like the way to go so I followed along with the majority of what I had seen as this was my first time.

You definitely have more experience than me doing 4 sets so I guess you would be the expert in this situation.

FYI, I put some frog painters tape over my headlights during install to avoid the possibility of scraping.

Eric advised (I think it was him) about putting blue tape on both lens prior to install. Thanks fellas.

I'll be sure to note which direction I pull the lights out...

Agreed .... LED Bulbs, Spyders (absolute shit), HID upgrade to the Spyder housings, and finally Morimoto XB (nice upgrade). After driving a friends 2020 with factory LEDs, I was sold

I super jelly, I wanted the LED headlights when I ordered mine but I guess is a southeast that I couldn't get the Tech Package with LED Headlights, I had to do the premium package which I wasn't interested in. Saving my money for the LED headlights!
