I'd be cool with that, but I've purchased my last ICE-only vehicle. I'll roll with my '19 until Toyota has a proven electrified platform (preferably a PHEV versus electric only).

 

That’s what I said a few years after I bought my 2005 Tacoma. I eventually had to trade it in with 584,000 km and 13 years on it for my 2018. So close. And yet, so far.

 

Anticipation is killing me.

 

Take this for what it is worth...a salesman told me last week that the 2023 tacoma coming this fall will be totally redesigned.

 

I don't think a salesman would lie, would he?

 

Or make sh*t up, can’t tell you how many times over the years buying Tacomas I’ve corrected them on their own products.
