I got some fancy component speakers and while they sound great I do not have a spot for the included tweeters. The dash location is taken up by the mid range driver and the sail panel does not seem deep enough to install the included swiveling tweeter flush mount.

Where are you guys placing your tweeters on the 3rd gens? I'm finding this to be ridiculously difficult to do without sacrificing the OEM look.

I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps

If you have the space and time... Probably cheaper / more fun / more fulfilling to buy some used sail panels on eBay or at the wrecker yard and do it yourself.

If you went 6.5 in the door there’s probably room for the tweeter next to the woofer, especially if you offset the woofer a little.

I would try to get the tweeters in the dash and move the midrange though.

I may just screw the tweeter to the sail panel until I can find somebody to fabricate something that will make it point in the correct direction and look OEM. The door speaker is 6x9, there seems to be a small bit of room there but I'm not sure its enough to not interfere with the speaker already in place. I'll give it another look.

The midrange is much larger and fits almost perfectly where the original JBL midrange went. So I really think that finding a spot for the tweeter is the best course of action.
