I'm sure it's including the $995. that's required by Toyota of America.

Did you pick up a new Tacoma recently from there? I noticed the cement dclb prem/tech missing off their site

Bought the truck last night at freeman. Just the tech package no premium. Their prices are very good. $34,463

I only went to Santa Cruz because they’re local and ended up with a good deal. More importantly, the salesman was knowledgeable and polite, ditto the finance guy ... no BS. Service doesn’t impress me but then I read other folks’ experience at other dealers with the same (minor) 3rd gen issues that I’ve had, and I guess SC is pretty good.

Just wanted to check-in with others to see if Freeman is still legit. I put money down with them on an incoming Taco and don't want to get there and have them try to mark it up on the spot (which isn't uncommon in this new world we live in).

I bought mine from there back in October for MSRP, they’re the only dealership around not tacking on dealer mark up.

I got mine through a brokerage, and they ended up sourcing it from Sunnyvale Toyota. There was a $500 markup, but I believe that was the broker's doing and not the dealer's -- I believe Sunnyvale Toyota sells for MSRP.

I got mine Hansel Toyota in Petaluma at MSRP. I also was calling around during my search and it seemed like One Toyota of Oakland was selling at MSRP and they seemed to have a decent inventory, although I never went there and only spoke on the phone.

Picked up a 22 4Runner TRD today from Marin Toyota. I guess someone ordered and didn’t end up wanting it. They don’t mark up from MSRP except they added dealer upgrades and charge premium for them. The wife gets what the wife wants.

Freeman Toyota has no markup, but they add stargard and charge $1000 for a mandatory “optional” ipgrade

Oof. That's not much different than a blatant markup.

Changing the question slightly, What is the best dealership to PreOrder a truck from?

I’m looking for a V6, AC cab, MT, 4WD which appears to only be available in the TRD sport, and dealers only appear to stock double cabs, and if you want MT? - dream on. So preorder seems only way to get one.

I'm just throwing this out there, I had a happy experience using a brokerage company cartelligent.com that serves California. They made the process much easier for $800. The few dealerships in the bay area that I tried to contact for pre-orders said they were no longer doing that. You may have some options out of state. I had a good discussion with Camelback Toyota in Phoenix Area.

if you order it before the vehicle gets to their lot you can request that they don’t install it. Freeman is a good dealership

I tried, I asked for them to not put it on and my request was denied. Maybe just a different salesman. Wish I got yours haha
