TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
That is too bad. The rear brake light design has been a headache for so many loyal Taco owners. If Toyota had done the same 3rd brake light as the Access Cab all that frustration and unnecessary cost could have been avoided.

I'm downsizing for a year and keeping my daughters Outback while she is in school. Will pickup a Tundra when they settle down and are available and have no issues. Would be nice to get a bigger truck with the same or better mileage and without this weird transmission (and able to tow). If I had to do it all over again, I would have kept my 05. But you live and learn I guess.

Ah, you got the automatic too? The manual in my 2020 has been pleasantly surprising. I wish the Tundra looked... better. Frankly I haven't seen a full size truck that I've liked since the end of the GMT 400, so take my opinion with a snow shovel of salt.

Man you aren't lying. That truck is godawful ugly, but than again I think this version of the Tacoma is horrendous as well. Both designs have a way to big lower lip/cowl area. And yes the Manual is wayyy better, however, the mileage is way worse. Who knows, hopefully they do a mid resdesign on the new Tundra in 5 years, I can only hope.

My Glock 19 or 43 fit there perfectly and there is no way you can see it from any window. Lot of damn crime here in Houston.

Just going to throw that out there you should look into some way of securing it. Any crash and that thing is getting yardsaled. Also much harder to draw fast when you actually need it. At least an earth magnet glued into the door panel on the other side. I screwed in a safariland holster.

Of all of the "midsized" trucks available at the moment (I use quotes because they are all the size of an F-150 in the late 90's), I think the Taco is the best looking but considering its peers that really doesn't say much. It does look a lot better after the air-dam delete though at the cost of a bit of fuel economy. I really hope trucks start looking better when you're ready to buy another truck but given the direction they've been going over the last two decades... I'm not holding my breath.

Added a little old school flare and also a little hockey symbolism with these replacement badges that I found on Etsy for my floor mats. They are made for Weathertech but I made them fit on my Smartliners.
(Drew’s decals on Etsy: I am pleased with the product but the shipping was a nightmare)

Replaced the factory wipers with Napa in house brand metal style :crapstorm:

The factory ones were terrible! Streaks and they would always miss a spot on the passenger side on colder days. Usually the OEM ones are pretty good, maybe I just had a bad batch. Either way, $30 blades that just work. I'm cool with it.

Did anyone see the guy in Florida? I think in a rav4, looked like he had a console safe, fired shots at another car through his car, pulled over and called 911 all while being filmed on his own interior dash cam.

I think I have the bottom of the door panel now hitting after putting these exact speakers in.
