Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Mine recently dropped a lot. I usually get 18-19mpg. When I filled up 2wks ago it dropped to 14mpg on 50 mile drive home. Hoping just some bad gas. Won't know for sure till I fill up again next week at another place. :notsure:

Got the dash speakers in. Tight working space though…..

Working on the dash speakers made me wish I had smaller hands. The door speakers were a breeze. I was honestly shocked by how light the 6x9’s were when I pulled the first one out…..factory…….

These sound so much better. Just the tweeters made a big improvement to the sound on their own. Just waiting for the rear door speakers now and I’ll be ordering an amp next……stay tuned!

Yeah don't let that fool ya. I just filled up yesterday. I've burned more gas the last 2 weeks letting truck warm up vs driving. It's about a 5 mile drive to work for 7 days out of 14 (gotta love rotating weekends).

    It's a 2016 with a little over 57K with KDMAX Pro.

Treat 'er like a lady I guess.

I believe I've got those same door speakers. Did you have the Suburu tweeters in before or did you get another brand with these?

The dash speakers are also the CS series Kickers. They are a midrange/tweeter. I can actually tell there are speakers in the dash now. :D

So the included tweeter brackets fit perfect then? Not sure about the temperature sensor, but likely a good guess. I need to get going on this with my truck. Everything looks great and thanks for sharing. Keep us posted with the amp.

Sorry to make you repeat yourself...

Are these different than the Subie tweeters? They definitely look different than mine, and if they're even nicer I'd just pick these up instead.

You got it. They actually come with three different mounting bracket pairs. Just got to compare against the factory speakers.

It is. I disconnected mine. Keeps my DRLs working but I decide when full lights come on. Some folks like the auto lights. TBH I don't.

But different strokes for different folks.

Yes different than Subaru kicker tweets. Half the price too. These are paper mid range speakers/tweeters, but come with an inline capacitor to function as a tweeter or left out to function as a mid range. The Subarus are silk and function only as tweeters. (Subarus are technically higher quality)

If you go with the paper ones I'd recommend using the inline capacitor.

edit: here's more info on them...

Yes. These are Kickers. I ordered them from Crutchfield.

These are for the double cab without the JBL system and the 8” display.

Nice upgrade. The OEM speakers are crap.
Fyi, the little dome in the RS speaker cover is the light sensor for Auto-On headlight feature.

I paid $100 for the Suburu tweeters and I like them. And replacing the factory speakers with some aftermarket ones was one of the better investments for my blue mechanical mistress. The ones I got from Crutchfield work great with the OEM head unit.
