    Hi all,

I told Tyler at Queen City Overland ( https://queencityoverland.net ) I would give him a shout out.

He just did my suspension, a full Dobinsons set up front and rear with UCA’s. He was awesome to work with. The dude rocks. His price was great for everything he did. Every time I contacted him he was available and he got my truck in quick. I told him I was concerned my Ko’s were not balanced right causing a bad vibration and he made sure it was a priority to resolve. His attention to detail was spot on.

He’s so good I want to find more things to do to my truck.

Yeah he is a cool dude. He installed my suspension and winch on my 4Runner and then helped me tighten my winch cable for the first time.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

    You’ll love the Dobinsons.

It's not a winter thing it's a park maintenance thing. Go research Tellico. You see we don't have hardly any public places around here and we sure as hell don't have any BLM land unlike out west. So too try and keep as much going as possible they try and give the little public places a rest to traffic, do some maintenance, and clean up. If you want to ride the trails in the winter join a club that volunteers time for maintenance and clean up.

But you also have constant bombardment from people to shut those places down and they have very very very deep pockets. Again research Tellico here. I donate to CORVA just to try and keep them open so that maybe one day I'll get to see those places and ride them.

Even MOAB and some of the most popular places there are under attack from closure. They already got the lions back.

It is sad. Fun is being taken away for people to build houses. Pretty soon the only reliable 4WD use we will get will be at the beach (until they shut that down). I will have to look into the maintenance stuff because I would be happy to get my boys and I out there to help.

Speedmaster, but I’d go vintage. Which I have two of those. I don’t like the modern Speedies.

Pro tip, there isn’t a wait list for Rolex’s ;)

the allocations usually go to the flippers or preferred/rich customers as first priority.

Some chum like me doesn’t stand a chance of getting one even if I walked in waiving cash in their faces.

I would totally buy a Sub today if I could get one, I’d run my ass down to Charleston asap. I have no desire to ever flip one. It would be a lifetime watch that I would hope to pass down to a grandkid one day.

There is a wait list, and dealers that sell direct to grey market are the ones closing. Rolex shut down 20 last year alone in the US. Also, big spenders aren’t waiting on standard submariners, they’ve had them for years. It’s just a waiting game when I’ve got 200 people waiting and get 15 a month.

In other news, this is the most recent addition (an engagement gift to myself ). Could not be more stoked about this as I’ve been looking at it forever. If anyone is ever looking to buy/sell/trade any pieces, definitely reach out. I’ve actually got a few I’ve been debating letting go of recently.

you got a Sub, Sea Dweller, or GMT II you wanna sell for cheap?! :spending:

I think a Seamaster or Speedmaster will be next, if I can find one second hand for a decent deal. Rolex greymarket is STUPID right now.

it still stands, but I also trust his word that they operate differently than others.

go YouTube “Rolex AD exposed” and watch some videos.
