@MESO, regarding pre-orders in the future, I don't think anyone who pre-ordered is upset with you or your business. It's really no different when someone purchases a new bumper or anything else that's made to order. It sucks to wait, but I'm happier knowing it's on the way and mine is "reserved" rather than waiting until the item finally drops. I would have jumped on the opportunity to pre-order your V5's if given the chance. I don't care about when they'll arrive, as long as they do arrive. If they're delayed, don't be silent (which you haven't been) and keep us updated. That's all I personally care for. We know you're a man of your word and your business isn't going to wrong anyone intentionally, and I'm sure a lot of others will agree. But, it is your business and I won't lecture you on how you run it. Just a little bummed about future drops, lol.

 

No worries, thanks for the update. Personally, I have no problems with pre orders, as long as I'm comfortable with the vendor (in your case, I am). Fully understand the extra stress though.

I'm busy enough right now that I probably wouldn't get to installing these for a while anyway. Now, just waiting for those puddle pods to come back in stock

 

I'd put money down as pre-order and get a guaranteed future product rather than finding out that I slept in, woke up late, and all sold out in minutes

 

Still excited and happy to wait. I will absolutely miss not having to be on top of drop dates or email notifications though. I like just having it done and waiting for delivery. Delay is the new normal and it wouldn't stop me from doing it again honestly.

Just a heads up to all. The MSC AURIGA (the container ship that MESO says the tail lights are on) arrived at the Port of Los Angeles on 1/29. She's moored and probably waiting for a slot to unload. Anybody interested can look it up on Vesselfinder.

 

I actually ended up buying through Morimoto. Will that end up delaying me more?

Anyone else in the same situation?

 

If they don't have to go through MESO and get delivered straight off the container to Morimoto they ought to be on a very similar timeline

 

Excellent vendor and keeping everyone in the loop has been great! I would recommend Meso to anyone. We all hate waiting but we are close. Waiting to get our trucks was harder.

 

Probably won't put them in until it gets warmer anyway. Maybe I'll do the turn signals at the same time.

 

Logistics is amazing to me. The taillights I ordered are 5 miles away from me ATM and they have to go to Oakland before they got off the boat

 

I just bought a set. Re-stock in 2 weeks. Hope that's true. Now if I can just find someone who's interested in my TRD Pro blacked out tails with Meso Stage 1

 

You're going to have a line of people ready to throw money at you for them.

That reminds me. I need to sell the tails off my Sport. I didn't like the chrome housings, so I replaced them with some solid red ones from an SR.

 

The blacked out ones look dope and the Meso stage 1 plug 'n play kit make 'em even better IMHO.
