Morning everyone. Off to breakfast then to visit MIL . Practically across the street. Can’t wait for summah.

 

Yeah, it's separate. It's actually a converted barn, and most would consider it a shop as opposed to a garage. It's 40' x 40' and not insulated. There was sheetrock and insulation at one point in time, but I'm living in the moment, and at this moment it's mostly bare out there.

There are joists for a ceiling, but I'm about to take some out to clear up some space to open up the Drifter indoors.

It's MUCH different now, but here's a candid shot of the western half from last year.


There are three rooms on the western side as part of an add-on to the original structure.

Part of the northern wall is covered with sheetrock, and there's a few sheets on the ceiling closest to the roll-up door, but that's it.


...and yes, there's a wood burner out there, but it's missing a baffle, and had obviously been ran HOT. I'm not ready to tackle that, especially since any heat generated from that stove will just head up and leak out. I've tried using it, but after wasting hours trying to get it going, the temp barely changed and I went through quite a bit of our winter-heat-fuel.


Oh, and the new windows in the house are great!
