I picked up this one, the Titanium 125 I think to do the TC cam tab gussets and it worked great. I wanted the Mig 140 but for the limited amount of welding I do I couldn't justify double the cost for the unit and then dealing with gas bottles and all that.

I have the cheap flux core Chicago welder. Paid under 100 several years ago. I taught myself to weld with it, and built my bed drawer storage system with it. Worked pretty good. Is there better? Sure, but not for what I paid. Eventually I'll get a better setup(my new shop has 220v) but I don't weld much.

Dang it if I had that 25% coupon I could get the 73" Icon tool chest I want. $2999 needs a bit of "price reduction" before I'll bite.

Same goes for the $2199 Predator 9600w inverter genny.

I'm the kid with my nose pressed to the glass, watching the popular kids with the coupons... :D

funny, the predator generator was $2k about 2 months ago and they jacked the price up. So now with a coupon you’ll just pay pre price hike value. I scored mine for $1600 by using coupon when it was $2k and opening up a credit card which gives you another additional discount.

On the comments about flux-core wire. If the welder feeds and works properly flux-core welds very nice if you learn how to use it. I built my own tractor front-end loader using my Miller 130A, 115V wire feed welder with flux-core wire. This thick stuff was beveled and pre-heated to get full thickness penetration with the 115V welder

Thank you sir. I do have many years of welding experience but I needed to learn some new skills to weld well with flux-core. All my job experience welding was MIG and/or spool-gun on steel, aluminum, and SS and stick on steel. I watched several YT vids before I got good with flux-core. My welder welds cleaner if I put the material vertical and weld downhill. I think because it lets the slag fall away from the work

Got that HF parts washer and the psc1000 from tractor supply. Works great! Just added a brush. Wish I would have put a valve on the drain though.

I was looking at those last week and trying to figure out how to hook up a heater for the solvent.

I heard a bunch about that but I just got the tractor supply stuff and it works fine. My shop is like 30 degrees on average right now and I clean axles, t case housings, etc. Best $150 I ever spent.
