2022 NASCAR THREAD

I'd be interested to see the data (that you know NASCAR will gather) as to how many of the first timers they're touting actually go to another race/event.

 

Yeah, it’s called pit stops. Until today it was part of the competition. Guess that’s what happens when you throw yourself a party in LA in a parking lot.

 

LOL, now all the cars are breaking. Good job NASCAR. What a shit show.

 

This is quickly becoming an embarrassment. I can’t imagine the manufacturers being happy about being represented this way. A Toyota, Ford, and Chevy just had mechanical problems after drive 12 miles.

 

I've been in & out, are they doing any lucky dogs/lap back @ cautions?

 

Rear mounted transmission/ torque tube set up are very weak and fragile . I've seen this same failure in drag race cars using this drivetrain

Torque tube failures and grenaded diffs are very common . The torque tube , you can easily shear the 6 bolts off the drive flange . The diff case will literally split in half


I've seen 2500hp to 700hp drag race , street strip cars destroy this style set up and now Nascar cars

 

At least the 18 is leading.

I have an 06 Vette and have owned 2 others. I am well aware.

 

I must say, of all the new paint schemes. I think the 22 is a good looking car.

Lots of broken and busted cars. To many mechanical issues in such a short race on a track that I wouldn't call that demanding
