You'd have to look at the check valve and see which way the arrow points. That is direction the air needs to flow.

So I got everything together. Just trying to decide between aluminum or steel tank. Aluminum is cheaper to ship since it’s lighter, but it’s also more expensive. Steel is heavier and more expensive to ship but cheaper in price. Which is better in terms of quality? Won’t aluminum be more prone to dents and punctures?

Either one will do the job. If you mount it no lower than the frame or anything lower than the frame, getting hit shouldn't be an issue.

    Flip a coin.

You could run the line and put a connection on the bumper, or another place, like they did up a few posts.

i scuba dive and we use aluminum tanks. They are pretty hard to ding but I feel like they are thicker since we fill them up to 2000 psi.

also, the steel is 2.5 gallon at 200 psi and the aluminum is 3 gallons at 200 psi.

Will these work with a max pressure of 145 psi when I have a tank that’s 200 psi and compressor of 150? Thanks.

One thing for sure, your tank won't magically reach 200psi if the ARB pressure switch shuts things down at 150psi.

In a real world situation the fittings rated to 145psi will probably be fine, as that is just a lower rating for consistency and not max fail pressure. You might find higher rated fittings or go with similar brass compression fittings that come with the Viair tubing kit.

    great, thanks.
Ya viair actually recommends a pressure release valve of 250 psi for their 200 psi tanks. So I’ll get that.

I wanted that kit badly but it’s only 15 feet of hose.
