Doubt it will sell for that but the market dictates the pricing. As long as people will pay these high prices, then it will continue to go up. Especially since finding 4x4 trucks is increasingly difficult. I just bought my 2011 with 67k on it for 21k. It has a bunch of upgrades that I had planned on doing anyways so I feel like in this climate I paid a fair price.

That's just it, in your particular case the mods were ones you desired so it had that additional value to you.

I'm sure too they started high. My motto in selling is

"shop around as if you're buying what you're selling and see what stuff is asking/selling for..then ask a little more and write a better ad"

The big thing with the market now is the chip shortage made these trucks like gold. I just sold my 2020 Tundra and the dealer flat out told me they would list it for 51k with 21k miles on it. I bought it for 49xxx new. Crazy times we live in and I’m glad I found a deal in all this chaos.

Any deals on TIG welders? I need one to build a wedge camper. Deals on wedge campers would be good too so I don’t have to build one.

I saw that. They have a bunch of robots or something. It's tempting for sure. I think I can make one for under $2k even with buying a TIG welder. Still trying to decide which way to go...Buy a GFC or save $4k while torturing myself. I like to punish myself so the 2nd option is probably what I'll do.

Can you do it with aluminum brazing?

Haha true. But I don’t know how to TIG weld aluminum so my welds probably won’t be any better than brazing.

Im sure theres tons of guys on here more knowledgeable than me about it, but I think aluminum requires a certain type of TIG machine. Possibly a step above the cheap entry level you were looking for.

Just need AC for aluminum, but most TIG machines you get these days will be AC/DC. Even the cheap ones are inverter AC/DC machines. Get some LaYZr electrodes and you're on easy street.
