Keep an eye out for used F67’s - they aren’t any good for SUA and lots of guys buy them only to find out they want other springs.

I'm late to the party, but outta curiosity, what made you go with the MCM kit? It seems to be one of the most tried and true kits available for our platform, I just ask because there's quite a few options for 3rd gen 4Rs/1st gen Tacos these days. Super excited to see this suspension overhaul, yours is certainly one of my favorite 1st gens.

I'm always window shopping for suspension, but I'll keep an eye out for those now.

Biggest reason is price. For the price, this kit is insanely beefy. Unless Marlin Crawler makes a long travel kit for the 1st gen Taco/3rd gen T4R, this is definitely the kit to beat.

Tundra and Sequoia calipers got a new coat of paint. Thought about painting them red, but decided against it.

Probably going to throw the Tundra Brakes in the truck sooner rather than later since the stock brakes on my truck are pretty bad right now.

I have most of everything as well. I will need to make some hard brake lines because I plan on deleting the LSPV and ABS unit.

What’s the benefit from deleting abs

More room under the hood, and mine doesn't work so that's rad.

also don't have to worry about ABS kicking on when you're braking on the trail, it's pretty sensitive and tends to kick on easily. If you've ever braked over a speed bump with ABS you know the feeling

I still have ABS on mine but I can see the benefit to removing it if you spend a lot of time in the dirt and/or want that extra space under the hood for other stuff.

Mine is incredibly weak when it does kick in. It's never worked properly for some reason, yet I can't anything wrong. Oddly enough, it's only ever kicked in once on the trail.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but the new booster and diff tube for the truck got some paint as well.

Got a few more things to paint while the weather is decent, but that's going to have to wait until next weekend.

I had deavers on mine and bent them into an S in 5yrs. I have been running all pro expos since, damn near 10yrs, and they have been kicking ass. I pulled 3 leafs out and keep adding one back in evrey few years as they sag. Work great.

I would not buy deavers again.

Interesting. Most of the time I hear the all pro pack being the one that problem. @552Jrider has all pro expos, and he's were shot after one trip to Moab.

Interesting, mine have been awesome. I also don't wheel with 7,000lbs of crap in the bed.

@Dalandser apples to oranges. I do slow speed crawling, not desert wheeling.

Desert trucks pound through whoops and soar over jumps because they obsessively tune their shocks - you could perceivably do damage to any component if a truck isn't well tuned. That said a stock length replacement pack is limiting performance with any SAS or 3.5 over kit up front.

I would say a well setup and tuned leaf spring rear will out perform most standard off tje shelf lt front kits. Sure a linked rear would be better but with a little time, it’ll work just as well or better. A junkyard pack using thin leaves from a wagoner or ranger would get you pretty close to a deaver like pack but probably not as good. You could always use a shorter main leaf too like a ford 52 in main or really anything you want.

I could have sworn I heard someone say that Alcan used to make the All pro expo leaf packs back in the day.
Would make sense that they went to shit after the whole TG buyout and whatnot though

I could def see TG running them into the shitter.
