1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Most folks there leave the huntsman spiders alone and let them keep the house free of roaches and various other spiders and bugs. Apparently they're pretty docile for how big they are, you can feed em and they don't even attack to take it. One guy said you can hear em walking though and that was a bit of disturbing thought.

You know what else are cool? Camel spiders

 

I caught a couple in my front yard. They kill other bugs so I just put them back.

Those aren't even spiders, they just couldn't think of a worse category to put them in

 

In order to send one you need to have one to begin with

 

I thought camel spiders were only native to the Middle East

then again with all the nuke testing that went on in Nevada, who knows what lurks out there

edit - apparently they're a classification for desert spiders all over, more reason to leave the desert

 

We're starting to get brown & black widows all over our front/backyard again, since winter was basically only 2 weeks long out here. Finding those fuckers all over the place

 

We have them here in the high desert. It's like a scorpion without pinchers/stinger tail

Yeah he bought in 2021 and brought it back to life it seems. Looks solid though and like he did a good job.

But I can never bring myself to buy stuff that has had frames painted, unless there’s documentation (photo) of how it was done, otherwise just seems risky. I’d love a 79-83 in the driveway.
