wonder if a catch can would work just as well low. like on the frame. fluid goes down, vapor goes up??
i just may do that. maybe @Torspd could share his thoughts.

 

How's the center support bushing on the driveshaft? Mine just started to give me a single squeak that's about the same pitch as what you have going on. So far I only hear it when I apply throttle from a stop.

 

Plenty of people have done that as well. It works just as you stated.

 

I might try the same thing then.. It's only going to get worse once the secondary battery goes in the passenger firewall corner too.

 

What's the catch can of choice? I haven't ran one since the HEMI WK

 

the generic billet ones although most are not baffled or will have an area to fill with a stainless scrubbing pad.
I have the ADD W1 ver1 and it works fine.

anything that seals well. all those hoses they come with seem like junk though.

 

ahhh so just to close this out. Was getting my camper repaired today and was chatting and we look at the carrier bearing. Looser than a Hollywood working girl. Could have been worse but not too bad of a replacement. Any of the local parts guys got any deals on carrier bearings? =)

 

Any SF Bay Area folks recommend a good Exhaust shop specifically one that could modify a nice tig welded Y? I may or may not have acquired a used JFR but realized after that it was 1/2 N/A versions. Need to modify from 2.5" to 3" collector and tack on a couple more Bungs for the AFRs.

 

Is anyone running actual vacuum lines to their Catch Can? I am using fuel lines and wonder if they are collapsing.
I as well have the can ran to the opposite side But against the wall near the S/C. I would like to get it closer to the PCV if possible

 

I'm considering the rigid version the @12TRDTacoma has been running. I swapped a new OE version in <2 years ago and am feeling some slop again. I know others have just filled the rubber with silicone to stiffen it up. You would want to support it from below while it dries so the alignment doesn't get off.

 

I ditched the catch can with the new engine. I wash all the oil out with fuel from the 7th injector. Haven’t opened it up to look at recently. Probably add that to my list of things to do.

 

2015 and still running strong! It's so worth it.

 

Running a catch catch in the northeast winter weather is interesting. They fill up so fast, sometimes weekly.

 

Send me over what you added? With it making as much noise as it is how drivable is it? I plan to get it fixed asap but also have an apt next month about 15 miles away for some work.

 

it's just an IEDLS (Inland Empire Drive line Service) Ford Ranger polyurethane bearing.

 

Not that bad near the coast, but pretty close with that humidity.

 

Anybody got any leads on manifold block off plates for SAI pipes? Just installed a S/C on a new booster brother and going to set him up right.
