Lots of stuff keeping me busy at the house. Sister came up and helped us get some stuff unpacked and get the spare room put together. Had to cut down a rug we had, and it didn't take long for one of my cats to claim the remnants...

Afternoon folks

Finally found my car cover! Looks like there's something more expensive under it, but alas it's not




And apparently during the move the beer fridge didn't make it in one piece. The freezer worked fine, but barely any air got into the fridge portion. Hmmm. I did notice when we went to move it the freezer part was all iced up, so that gave me a clue. The condenser fan is moving, but not very fast. So I pulled it out and looked up the part number. Found one on Amazon, $48 shipped to my door via Amazon truck. Never had that kind of service at the old place. Hopefully this'll fix it!

 

Hey all, been a while. Since I was here last, ole Rosie got herself smacked in the ass by not one, but two cars. Brand new (once very nice) Mustang GT decided his phone was more important than driving and smashed into a Dodge minivan while doing about 65. Minivan then proceeded to smash into me. I was literally on the way taking my mom home after being in the ER all day for a massive concussion she got falling in her bathroom. So, massive concussion + whiplash, dislocated rib, lots of bruising. I got a broken foot when my foot got launched under the dashboard. All the safety bits did what they were supposed to. Repair bill came to $7070.70 (should have bought a lotto ticket I think). All my medical was covered, mom had to hire a lawyer. Was without Rosie for over a month. Had a Nissan Frontier for a rental. Engine was nice, but the rest...awful. For a truck that was a 2020 with 40k, it made more noise and squeaks than my Tacoma with 115k, driver window worked sometimes, heater smelled like ass... I was not impressed at all. Now that she is back, on the menu is brakes, fluid flush, and windshield replacement. It had a bullseye for at least 11 years that finally spread with the accident.

Did bring them along incase it doesn't work though...
