    Nope.

Driving lights (headlights) on in green; Parking lights on in yellow; Auto (for both) on, if dark enough, in orange. And then, at the bottom is DRL off (obvious).
There is a difference between Parking and DRL. The DRL does NOT have the rear tail lights on. Parking & driving have tail lights.
You have the option to not run with DRL, so there is the OFF selector.

I have to throw this in as well ---- it drives me nuts when people stop & wait (like when picking up their kid in the school parking lot after game or cell phone lot at the airport) and they sit with their driving lights on blinding the rest of us! Turn them down to the parking lights if you're parked!!

My DRL come on when the parking brake is released after start-up (or ign on) as long as the selector isn't in the off position. But do not go off when the parking brake is applied (must be ignition off for that).

Back in the day, in Paris, the city was so bright that driving lights were not used. But parking lights were - just so the pedestrians would know which vehicles were in motion!
Some places call parking lights "running lights". Which is also used for navigation lights on ships.

    See my sig for mods
I installed my SOS Performance 2” front / 3.5” rear lowering kit over the weekend at my friend's shop who has a really nice two-post lift which made the installation a breeze.

To remove the front struts to install the new Bilstein 4600 front shocks, SOS lowering sleeves, and spring perches, I used the same method I used when I installed the 1” leveling spacers I had installed, which is the floor jack method, which is not only quicker than using a spring compressor to disassemble the struts but its also a lot safer.

My friend whose lift I used is a master welder and metal fabricator, and he did an excellent job cutting, modifying, and welding back together the rear muffler hanger bracket to gain plenty of clearance above the leaf spring, and it looks great. I also put the front air dam/spoiler back on as I think is goes great now with the lowered look of the truck.

We have a car dealer in town that has a high-tech alignment machine, and for $99.99 they are going to do a 4-wheel alignment. I’m still waiting on the Bilstein 4600 rear shocks, which I should be getting in a couple of weeks hopefully, and the Hellweg rear sway bar kit is supposed to ship out between 3-4 to 3-14.

I really love the stance of my Tacoma now, and on the ride home it immediately felt less top-heavy, and the ride was very nice, and it’s much easier to get into the cab. So, after I get the rear sway bar kit installed, I and my friend whose I used for the install are going to take through some nice twisty canyon roads we have up here in Northern NV and see how it handles.

Yep, I agree with you. Known as "Direction of Flight".

However... If one wants to install the bolt backwards and is worried about loosening, the bolt can be drilled, use a castellated nut, and cottorpinned or safetywired.
Know that nothing is completely Murphy-proof! Not pins, safetywire, or locknuts; so just try to do routine inspections for critical areas (or self-installed parts) on your truck. Try to catch it before it's a problem.

lol, I am one of those weirdo's that will drop to running lights in a drivethrough because I know exactly how annoying my lights can be. I even did it when I had my Mazda3 because just a neighborly thing to do.

What rear sway bar are you going with? Been pondering putting the Hellwig set up on mine but worried it will void the frame warranty for the 2 holes that need to be drilled.

    I attempted this:

    Phone Mount

Kuddos to the person that designed it, but I dunno... I thought I could at least try landscape mode but it just doesn't work right. Everything is too small. 2 lane rough road highways and the rest of the driving I do taken into consideration, no way it would work. I do like the design though. I was able to hide the cable entirely by removing the cig lighter and replacing it with a usb setup behind the dash. I hated the notification that came up on my phone every single time I plugged it in about entune. And, I don't use carplay or any of that stuff. I don't even let the bluetooth connect to messages. Just the audio. So I ended up keeping the setup I have with the Scosche mount and just hid the rest of the wiring behind the dash. Now I have nothing plugged in outside of the dash and I can access my cup holders easily. Too lazy to snap a pic though. But if anyone want's to give that horizontal mount a shot, I'll sell it to ya! PM me! I was able to figure out that if I double tap my phone it'll lock and unlock since the horizontal setup blocks the buttons on the right side.

Same. It's a courtesy. Kuddos :fistbump:

The Hellwig 7744, the second from the top on the link. Since my Tacoma is lowered, I will have to mount the sway bar to the differential and see what I need to do as far as shortening the end links that connect the sway bar to the frame, and I already have several options I can go with that Involve cutting a section out of the end links that come with the kit, and have an have my friend weld it back together, or make new one-piece end links the correct length out of aluminum and press the rubber bushing from the factory end links into them. .https://www.hellwigproducts.com/products/search-by-vehicle/?Year1=2017&Make=Toyota&Model=Tacoma
