    Frick has really gotten attached. This is about as much as he likes. He’ll jump up, let me pet him for a minute and then down by the feet. As long as he is touching me somehow.

    Our boy Gromit is that way. Kind of unusual for a male cat in my experience. I have alwaysfound males to be quite cuddly and willing where the lady cats are far more persnickity and only on their terms. The Grom doesn't like to be pet. Only brushed on his face and neck or seriously beat on his back and sides of his butt! He loves to be pet and stepped on by foot, though. He'll hang around for that. He's definitely a quarter bubble off level.

    Brother Wallace is an absolute squishy sponge. He's all about heating blankets and under the covers with me only. He sleeps right in between my wife and I at face level and is better than any stuffed animal I grew up with as a tyke. He is such a staple of our sleep routine that I often think of that inevitable time when he's not here for us. Oh...it's too brutal to go there.
