No worries, just checking. I can pay up but thought I'd check, dude with the 80 sent me the VIN.
Sidenote, I gotta jump into welding, too many things I'd like to be able to do and thats high on the list.

It was stupid slow at work today and I literally got bored and welded scrap pieces together. Came out pretty good too

We just had two outdoor trash bins to make and we knocked those out quick.

Try this guy. He may be able, but seems a little questionable...

How hard is it to get an extra bed loaded up for transport? Is that a 3-4 person lift?

I'm thinking of grabbing that free (crash-damaged) bed from Craigslist, stripping it of small parts and then taking the rest to the scrap yard.

I mean, he's been working at his dealership for a long time no.

Would be genuinely surprised if he can't; dealers pay a monthly subscription and can run as many in one month as they wish.

Not hard at all. 1 person can load a bed onto another bed they are not that heavy.

What parts are on a bed? Tail lights and mud flaps?

    Not much.

I'm in it for the flares, but I'd strip fuel door, tie-downs, tailgate hardware, etc. before scrapping it.

What's the best way to tie them down?

I remember seeing pictures of them upside down resting on 2x across the bed rails, but I don't remember how they were strapped. Over the top or using the tie-downs inside both beds?

2x4s work great. This is how we did it on Tyler's truck and how we did it on my second gen. I have a bed cover.

Yeah, those are the pics I was thinking of. Thanks for saving me from digging back through the thread to find them.

My tie-down job should be a bit easier than those :)

2 or 3 2x4s and 4 tie downs. Ratchet them down frome the inside tie down anchors.
